Biography
Mark Amodei is a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Nevada's 2nd congressional district since 2011.
Prior to his congressional service, Amodei served in the Nevada Legislature, spending two years in the State Assembly (1996–1998) and eleven years in the State Senate (1999–2010). He graduated from Carson High School, earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and received a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law. Amodei worked as an attorney and served in the United States Army.
